EDCCA Minibus Trips 2024
Minibus trips July and August
Thursday 4th July – Burnby Hall and Gardens near Pocklington £20 plus a small admission charge – these extensive gardens have a hundred varieties of water lilies, which should look magnificent at this time of year.
Thursday 25th July – Beverley £20 – pop into St Mary’s church and see the inspiration for the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, or just have wander around this beautiful market town
Thursday 1st August – Sewerby Hall and zoo near Bridlington – £20 plus a small admission cost for admission to the house and zoo. Whether you want to explore the Georgian House or look at the penguins and lemurs in the zoo, or walk around the rose and pleasure gardens, a trip here is always a great day out.
Thursday 22nd August – Blakey Ridge and Rosedale – £20 – enjoy lunch at the Lion Inn and the amazing views over the moors.
Trips may be cancelled if there are a small number of passengers
We are delighted to use Morse minibuses. They will collect passengers from 9.30 outside Sheriff Hutton Village Hall, 9.45 at the bus stop on the B1363 at Stillington and 10am from the Market Place at Easingwold. The return time into Easingwold is either 4pm or 5pm ,depending on the trip, and then dropping off at Stillington and Sheriff Hutton.
We will endeavour to have a volunteer accompanying you on the trips.
